Where we live on an island, the weather doesn’t change all that much but the seasons are evident by the types of fruits and vegetables that are available at the local market.
My favorite month is December! We have a property that produces enormous amount sof avocados. Of course, our family keeps some throughout the season.
We enjoy filling up sacks and driving to our friend’s homes to give them away even more. It is a family tradition now.
In countries where the seasons are more visually evident, we would be doing a disservice to our kids if we do not point out the differences.
