Finding ways to repurpose unwanted items into useful things is a thrifty habit. Save your cartons and use them for these repurposed egg carton activities for preschool.
Hands-on learning is a great way for younger children to learn concepts. Buying manipulatives and resources can be expensive, so it makes sense to create them.
We all use boxes, cans, and cartons every day. We either put them in the trash or toss them in the recycle bin to be carried away.
Why not use some of those items to create your own teaching resources? Save money and get your mind working in a creative way.
Cut a few egg cartons into single cups and label them with letters of the alphabet. Use the individual cups to spell your child’s name and other words.
Just grab the single cups and write numbers at the bottom of each. Use cereal or pretzels and have your child count and place the correct number in each cup.
Reverse the same activity, having your child count backward as they eat each piece.
The visual counting craft is a fun and colorful way to express the numbers 1 to 5.
