This is one of the hardest times of the year to the achieve goals of debt-free living. Bills and budgets do not take a break for the holidays.
The past few weeks I have been trying my best to save and earn extra money to pay for my youngest son’s leg braces. Thankfully we have almost reached our goal because the medical center will not give us the braces until they are paid in full.
Are you feeling the stress of one-income living? Do you want to bless your family with some amazing Christmas gifts but know you need to keep it small?
Honestly, some days I struggle and grumble with making the hard choices with the budget.
Living the Frugal Life Begins with 3 Easy Steps…who else wants to scream that “easy” should be not be in that sentence?
A few weeks ago I was asked to talk about homeschooling and debt-free living. I prayed about what I should say because there is nothing glamorous in describing hard choices and going without. If you have ever listened to people who give talks on a regular basis, they sometimes say they had things prepared for their talk and then they totally talked about different topics.
That is what happened with this radio show. I hung up the phone and was totally encouraged. I was supposed to be encouraging listeners in their debt-free journeys and here I was feeling blessed by remembering and discussing my own journey.
Take a listen to the radio show I did with Carol Topp on the Dollars and Sense Show on the Ultimate Radio Show Network.
I pray you find some encouragement. If nothing else, remember YOU ARE NOT ALONE in this journey.
