Preschool children need lots of opportunities to practice developmental skills. These fine motor skills activity sheets will help build on your child’s current skill level.
There are many different skills your child will learn as they enter their preschool years. Fine motor skills are just one group of skills.
These are a few fun ways your child can build fine motor abilities:
- Put puzzles together.
- Use playdough.
- Draw and paint.
- Play with Lego blocks.
- Use Lacing cards.
Another way to build fine motor skills is to trace and practice writing.
Your child can practice with these worksheets while they learn about different forms of exercise.
There are three pages in this free sample set for your child to complete.
The first page offers several dotted lines in various styles for your child to practice tracing. You’ll find curves, waves, and zig-zags to follow.
The second page explores simple yoga poses. Your child can copy the name of the pose on the manuscript line.
The last page includes several steps. Invite your child to cut the letters out, paste them into the boxes, and write the word.
