Mixing creative writing with Christmas is a fun way to keep up with practice while getting into the spirit. Make creative writing cheery with a Christmas writing prompts bingo challenge.
Avoid the drudgery of creative writing in the month of December and turn it into a game. This may bring some excitement to the task, and keep the ideas and creativity flowing all season long.
Your child will try to achieve “BINGO” by completing writing prompts. Use a dot marker or stickers to show a square has been completed.
Add more fun by having them draw a picture to go along with their prompt. Another idea might be to build with Legos something that represents their prompt.
If your child is learning to speak in front of others, invite them to read their story in front of the family. Sharing thoughts and ideas with family is a great way to know and understand each other better.
Print your bingo sheet on card stock so it will last all season. If you wish to reuse it, laminate or place it in a sheet protector and use dry erase markers to write.
