Celebrating the 100th day of school has been a popular milestone to celebrate for years. Mark your homeschool milestone with a few of these 100 School Days of math activities.
Recognition of the 100th day of school originates with the milestone of understanding numbers from 1-100. This is typically achieved in first grade.
It also happens naturally when students begin learning about calendars and counting days.
There are dozens of fun and educational ways to acknowledge your 100th day of school. This set of free 100th day Google slides offers many activities and challenges to enjoy.
Have your child build with 100 blocks, or gather 100 objects together. Use small objects such as pennies, q-tips, or cereal pieces to count.
Your child will enjoy an addition activity, adding numbers to equal $100. Included is a writing activity for your child to think about how they would spend $100.
A fun physical activity records how many seconds it takes to do certain activities. Your child can do 100 jumping jacks, claps, rope jumps, and frog hops.
These slides are interactive and can be edited with your child’s answers.
