A few months ago, as I was studying the beatitudes, God laid it on my heart to write The Beatitudes of Motherhood. I was amazed at the response I received. Honestly, it was completely inspired by God and I cannot take much credit, but I was honored and blessed by how it reached moms.
As I was thinking about my post for Holy Spirit Led Homeschooling this month, I heard that familiar voice whisper in my ear…The Beatitudes of Homeschooling. So I began to pray about it and started writing. This is what I came up with and I hope that it blesses you today! I have included a FREE printable below.
The Beatitudes of Homeschooling
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who is frazzled and has reached their limit. The family in the midst of battle and chaos – manic toddlers, stubborn children, newly independent teenagers, a strained marriage. When they let go of their ideals and allow themselves to decrease – God will be able to rule over their homeschool and their family. He will breathe life into their days.
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who is mourning the loss of a beloved. They have created a soft place to fall and can draw on the strength of one another. When they feel that they cannot go on any further – the God of all comfort will lift them up and carry them the rest of the way.
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who is content with the choices they have made and what they stand for. They are not swayed by the shifting sands of culture. They know that the things of this world will never bring them true joy – but their joy comes from the Lord. They are not boastful and do not view themselves above others. Their family is the treasure that they store up. They have need of nothing else – for God has supplied their every need.
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who has a hunger for the Lord and seeks after righteousness. They know that God must be the top priority in their family. They are focused on training up warriors in the Kingdom of God and know they must live by example. They hide God’s word in their hearts and pursue holiness. When you have filled your heart, soul, and mind with the spirit of God – your cup will overflow with the delight of the Lord.
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who is compassionate toward others and generous with what they have been given. They seek opportunities to be a friend to the friendless and a light in the darkness. They open their home to those in need and care for even the least of these. They will be well-loved and respected for their convictions – for they are a beacon of hope in a hopeless world.
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who has chosen to live pure and noble lives. They do not fill their minds with uncleanliness or their hearts with impurity. They seek not worldly pleasures – they are an example of virtue and honor. They have built their home upon a solid rock and have filled its rooms with wisdom and love. Because of the firm foundation under them – the way they view the world will be filtered by the character of God.
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who lives at peace and in harmony with others. They do not compare their family to others and do not place their convictions on their neighbors. They create a calm home and treat one another with kindness – always extending grace. They seek not to judge but to love without conditions. For they know who they are – beloved sons and daughters of the most high King.
Blessed is the Homeschooling Family who is oppressed and condemned for their choices. They will stand firmly by the conviction of their hearts. They know that they are in the center of God’s will and are carrying out His mission for their family. They will not be deterred. God will fight for them. They do not belong to the world – they have been chosen to rise up out of this world and embrace their heritage in the Kingdom of God.

Needed these tonight! Feeling so overwhelmed and stretched beyond my limit!
I love these! I am having trouble getting it to download for me to print it though 🙁
Thank you so much. Though we have been working in many good ways, we’ve had a bit of a struggle to really get going on more than basic academics this year, to the point that one of my teens said he wondered if he should go to school. We had a powwow and all contributed, set down some fresh discipline, and then listed all the things we HAVE been doing during the past month or so. It was such a blessing, and it gave us all the will to get over the hump and get cracking on all the wonderful ideas which have been gathering for many months now. God worked us through it, and we all had a chance to see the value of not quitting and of team work.
This printable will be a blessing to our home. I’m going to place it somewhere not constantly visible, but where it will be a regular reminder without becoming easily ignored.
Thanks!
This is wonderful! However everytime I click on the link in order to print it it redirects me to the acrobat.com subscription page?
Thanks for letting us know about the broken link.
