Using crafts to help teach letters to young children is a great way to help them remember. Get this L for leaf preschool craft for your lessons about the letter L.
To start your craft, print out your free letter L template. You may wish to use cardstock since this craft requires gluing several objects to paper.
Next, gather any sort of small leaves that will fit into the letter L outline. Colorful leaves will add a vibrant touch to your child’s craft.
You may be able to find leaves outdoors in your area if they haven’t disappeared. Inexpensive leaves may be available at discount stores, or you can just create your own.
Invite your child to color in their letter L any way they wish. Adding lots of color is a fun way to express creativity.
When your child is done coloring, cut out the letter L along the dark line.
Glue each of the leaves into the empty space of the letter L, filling it up.
Once your leaves are added, allow time to dry.
Display your beautiful letter L for your child to remember the beginning letter sound.
