A library is a wonderful place; filled with endless learning possibilities. Teach your children all about the library and its wonders with a kids library scavenger hunt activity.
As a homeschool mom you’ll probably agree that one of your greatest resources is your local library. You can find information on any subject your kids are interested in, on any reading level.
You can load up a tote bag full of books about dancing kittens, outer space, or drawing horses. With each haul your children sharpen reading and comprehension skills while having fun and learning.
This fun printable pack is a great way to familiarize your children with their local library. If the library isn’t a place your family visits often, perhaps this challenge will change that.
The scavenger hunt pages print in black and white and are completely prep-free. Your children can work individually or team up with siblings or friends to complete the challenges.
Younger children can use the easier printables to check off their discoveries. Older children can attempt to explore the challenge to find titles and authors and record them.
Be sure to follow the rules, and whisper as you move through the library.
