Some kids love reading and might even read more than one book at a time. These kids’ colorful reading bookmarks will save your child’s places in several books.
Reading for enjoyment is something I have always encouraged in my kids. It has been challenging at times, but we are making progress.
In this technological age, reading competes with video games and other digital distractions. It is important to encourage our kids to spend time exploring books.
At first, my kids would get overwhelmed with chapter books because it took time to finish them. I gave them cute bookmarks to use and encouraged them to read one chapter at a time.
Your little readers will love these cute, printable bookmarks.
Bookmarks are important. Using a bookmark prevents dog-earing damage and spine damage from laying an open book face-down.
To use them, print the number of pages you need onto cardstock sheets.
You may want to laminate your pages so your bookmarks will last longer.
Punch a hole in the top of each bookmark. Add a ribbon, embroidery floss, or yarn decoration to easily find your bookmark.
