There’s something about a pile of crunchy leaves that makes little ones want to learn right along with the season. This Reading Mama shares a free Fall Preschool Pack with colorful fall trees and leaves: 61 pages of gentle math and literacy fun for preschoolers, with no email needed for the download.

The PDF prints fine; the file is just locked against editing. It’s about 5 MB, so it’s easiest to download on Wi‑Fi or a computer.
What’s included
The 61-page file mixes hands-on math with early reading practice, all in a cozy trees-and-leaves theme:
- Dice and dot pattern memory match games
- Dice pattern dot pages
- Finish-the-pattern pages for ABAB and ABCABC patterns
- “Fall Leaves,” an early emergent reader that practices fall color words
- Alphabet dot pages for A–Z, uppercase and lowercase
- Rhyming puzzles
- Fall trees tracing pages in three levels
Most of the color pages also come in a black-and-white version, which is handy when the color ink is running low.
This is a different freebie from This Reading Mama’s Fall Pre-K/K pack we shared earlier, so if you grabbed that one, this pack adds new pages rather than repeating them: FREE Fall Pre-K to K Activity Pack.
Who it’s for
If your preschooler wants “school” like the big kids but still needs plenty of wiggle room, this pack is a sweet fit. The tracing pages come in three levels, so a three-year-old and a five-year-old can work side by side at the kitchen table. It also works well as a busy-time pack for a little sibling during older kids’ lessons.
How to use it
- Morning basket: Pull one alphabet dot page and one pattern page each day for a short, happy start.
- Read it together: Assemble the “Fall Leaves” reader, then hunt for real leaves in those same colors on your next walk.
- Game time: Print the memory match cards on cardstock (the pack suggests printing page 4 on the back so the cards aren’t see-through).
- Reuse it: Laminate the tracing pages or slip them into page protectors and use a dry-erase marker.
- Save the rest: Tuck unused pages in a folder for a rainy November afternoon.
What you’ll need
- Printer and paper, plus cardstock for the memory match cards
- Dot markers or crayons for the alphabet dot pages
- Scissors and glue for the rhyming puzzles and the emergent reader
- Optional: a laminator or page protectors and a dry-erase marker
