It is springtime and what comes along with spring? Spring brings insects and bugs. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing. My kids think bugs are pretty cool. Help your kids learn how to illustrate bugs with this FREE drawing bugs writing activity.

My kids absolutely love butterflies, especially. We love to look for them on our walks and watch them fly by us. We love to see bees pollinating flowers in the fields. Now that my kids are older they really can appreciate God’s creation all around, including the very smallest of creatures.
When my son was younger (he is 10 now), he thought bugs and insects were just to play with. We had to explain why he shouldn’t be rough with them. He still puts bugs to race each other, but he is gentle with them. That has to be a win, right?
