This is just fact finding, at the moment… but my daughter has resolutely been saying for over a year now that she wants to learn violin. She is currently 8 snd finishing 2nd grade… she does not currently read music, but is starting at a VAPA elementary school in the fall. If we go with your program… how much are we looking at for lessons (please give me realistic quote, so I can budget) and would it be ok for her to begin on something like an electric or “silent” violin, so she can practice in our very small living space without overpowering the space. She would be able to plug it into the computer’s microphone port for her instructor to hear, and headphones for herself to hear… but it would be contained for our small space… at least until she shows the commitment to actually mastering the instrument.
