After my post yesterday about what I bought at the used curriculum sale, a reader wrote me to share her recent homeschool finds at the Good Will thrift store. She gave me permission to share her thoughts with you and use her picture.
{Nearly} Free Homeschool Curriculum
Marie shares,
“I saw your recent post about the used book sale. I browse them if there is something specific I’m looking for but lately for chapter books, magic school bus, work books etc, I’ve had wonderful luck at Goodwill. Here is what I picked up yesterday at Goodwill. They charge 50 cents for all kids books (even curriculum & workbooks).
I spent $11 total.
Thought I’d share. I love saving some $$ when I can. Oh and yard sales! I love getting books at those too! I spent 25 cents each for Magic Tree House books this past weekend. That is a good deal cheaper than our local consignment store.”
