It is almost time, Homeschool Mamas…time for the end of the home school year!
The end of the homeschool year is a reason for everyone to celebrate: moms and dads because they’ve taught their best over the school year and kids because they’ve worked their hardest.
Many homeschool families have end of the year traditions. Does your family celebrate the milestone in any way?

End of the Homeschool Year Traditions
Celebrate the last day of the school year by having your kiddos cross the finish line! You’ll just need large butcher paper, a marker, and tape. So fun and simple!
Fix everyone a picnic lunch and eat on a blanket in the front yeard on the last day. No special preparation necessary!
Make a ‘Countdown to Summer’ sunshine paper chain.

Take a trip to the library during the last week of school and make summer plans! Find out the details for the Summer Reading program and any other special library events you can participate in. Print all of your kiddos a calendar and mark in the special dates!

Make an art gallery that showcases your child’s work throughout the year. A marvelous idea!
Do you create a homeschool year book? If so, have your child pull it from the shelf and see how far they’ve come in the past year!
Have your children fill out an End of the School Year interview. It would be so neat to track their answers over the years to see how they change!

Wrap up the school year with this End of the Year Memory Book. What a neat way to look back over the school year and reminisce about your many adventures and learning experiences!
Offer subject rewards for finishing each topic. This would be an especially helpful idea for any subject your child truly struggles with. It’s a celebration when the math book is completed!
