Emily from Teachable{Mom}Ments and ThriftyMinistry.com wrote in to share her Homeschool Shopping at Target Dollar Deals.
Yesterday while I was out and about shopping with my mom and oldest daughter, we stopped at Target. I always love checking their “Dollar Spot” and was super happy to see a section of school books and materials on display – all for only $1.00!
There were multiple math workbooks – math concepts, addition, subtraction. Also alphabet workbooks – phonics and letter recognition. There was even a workbook on U.S. Politics and a book about The Bill of Rights (grabbed one of those for future reference!). There were a couple of other early reading books plus teacher planning books.
They had a large selection of flash cards including sight words, addition, subtraction, shapes, colors, multiplication, science and history. The Dollar Spot also hosts some alphabet puzzles, games, crayons, coloring books, pencils, story books and organizational products.
Be sure to check out Target‘s Summer section as well (usually located toward the back of the store)! They had stickers, coloring rolls, foam shapes and art activity packs all for $5.00 or less with an additional 30% OFF! I loaded up on some dollar deals including a few math and phonics workbooks/flashcards plus The Bill of Rights book! I also filled a bag from their “summer” deals as well.
I will hopefully be heading back to Target for round two when my budget allows 🙂 Have you had success homeschool shopping at Target?
