The Our America series is a group of books that explore America’s history through two characters: Finn and Ginny.
The author describes the premise of the books:
“Finn & Ginny’s parents are lost back in time, and the two young twins have decided to go back to early America to find them. Their first search takes the twins to the Mayflower where they discover that the Pilgrims had far more adventures than they had ever realized. On their next searches, they find themselves caught up in the middle of King Philip’s War, the Salem witch trials, and the Revolutionary War. Will they be able to find their parents before the time machine sends them home?”
Susan Kilbride, author, also provides free activities to go with each of the 4 books in the series! You’ll find crafts, activities, and further reading in the guides.
This series of books is geared for children ages 10 and up.
