States of Matter – Changing States of Matter Packet (50+ pages): For the next two weeks (until Oct. 13), this science packet is FREE! It was made by Liesl over at homeschoolden.com. In this chemistry unit, they studied the characteristics of solids, liquids and gases and talked about what was going on at a molecular level. The packet has a variety of materials (notebook pages, worksheets, activity pages) that are suitable for a range of ages. This packet also has materials on the changing states of matter and the six terms as substances go from liquid to gas, solid to gas, etc. They did a lot of hands-on activities over the course of this unit and those activities are also included in the packet.
