FREE worksheets on Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycotts: This is a significant week in history. Sixty years ago, on December 1st, 1955 Rosa Parks refused to give her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama. This led to the year-long Montgomery Bus Boycott and sparked more than a decade of protest, marches, and rallies to end segregation in the South. You might want to check out the free notebook pages made by Liesl over at the Homeschool Den. She has free notebook pages about Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott. You might also want to follow some of the links at the bottom of that post to some of her other free Civil Rights Movement materials.
