While it’s raining outside this spring, you can be inside practicing math with fun rainy day counting mats! Count all the raindrops on the kids and add gems to the 10 frame.
5 Ways to use Counting Mats:
Number identification – read the numbers and count that many raindrops
1:1 Correspondence – Have them place one raindrop down as they count up to the number on the mat
Simple addition/subtraction
Find how many ways to add to a certain number
