Children need to learn how to write their numbers! So today One Beautiful Home Blog is sharing some FREE Number handwriting practice sheets that will help your child do just that!
What you’ll get out of these worksheets
- In the upper left hand corner it shows how to write the numbers (with steps and arrows)
- Next to the main number is an image representing the number
- 1 = 1 truck
- 2 = 2 monsters
- 3 = 3 flowers
- Your child writes the letters
- Your child writes the number words ONE-TWO-THREE, etc.
- This is great for our preschoolers to start seeing the “number” and the “number words” together
Then under that there are a handful of numbers 1-9. Have your child color the correct numbers. Ask them to go slowly and try to keep their colors inside the lines. This will help with fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, as well as their writing abilities down the road!
