Some days you just need one solid page of math practice you can print in a minute, plus an answer key so you aren’t checking 30 problems in your head while the baby fusses. DT Labs has a free set of math worksheets with answer keys for kindergarten through grade 4: 35 sheets across seven skills, each with its own key.
What’s Included
There are seven sets, five worksheets in each, so 35 sheets and 35 answer keys altogether. Every set is its own 10-page printable, with the five worksheets first and the five matching keys after them.
- Addition facts to 20: single-digit addition with sums up to 20, 30 problems a page (K–1)
- Subtraction facts to 20: subtraction within 20, with no negative answers (grades 1–2)
- 2-digit addition: two-digit plus two-digit, with and without regrouping (grade 2)
- Multiplication facts: times tables 1 to 12, mixed (grades 3–4)
- Division facts: division facts from the 1–12 times tables, no remainders (grades 3–4)
- Telling time: read the clock to the quarter hour and write the time (grades 1–2)
- Fractions: write the fraction of each shape that’s shaded, up to eighths (grades 2–3)
Each page has 12 to 30 problems with no repeats on a page, plus name, date, score and time boxes at the top. The sheets are US Letter size, and DT Labs says they also print on A4 with “Fit” selected.
Who It’s For
Homeschool families with kids from kindergarten to about grade 4, especially if you’re teaching several ages at once. Everyone can work on their own skill at the same table. DT Labs gives a grade guide for every set and suggests going one step easier first, then moving up.
How to Use It
- One page a day: DT Labs suggests short, regular practice instead of long sessions. A single sheet is about right for most kids.
- Time it if they like a challenge: the score and time boxes make it easy to see progress from sheet 1 to sheet 5.
- Print the keys separately: keep them for yourself, or let older kids check their own work once the page is finished.
- Mix and match: print addition for your kindergartner and multiplication for your fourth grader from the same page.
