FREE COLOR FLASH CARDS (Instant Download)

I love using flashcards with my preschoolers. I don’t use them in the traditional sense, however. There’s no drilling involved.

Instead, I like to print them and put them on a keychain ring so little hands can “read” them. This is a great way to introduce and reinforce skills such as numbers, the alphabet, shapes, and colors.

This set of color flash cards introduces preschoolers to color words and a variety of things that are each color. Print them out on cardstock for stability, and laminate them for stability.

Then, you can let your little ones “read” them like a book. (A pig is pink. A rose is red. etc…) Or, you can use them for a fun scavenger hunt around the house. Choose a card and see if your child can find any of the items on the card around your home. Or, see what else they can find that matches the featured color.

However you choose to use them, your little ones will enjoy using these cards to learn and practice their colors in a fun way.
