December mornings don’t need a candy calendar to feel special—just crayons, a fridge magnet, and a simple Advent habit you’ll actually keep. Homeschool Share shares four free one-page Christmas countdown printables on one landing: a Coloring Advent Calendar, a Drawing Countdown, a Fun Countdown, and a Kindness Countdown. Pick the sheet that fits your family (or print two for siblings) and mark the days from early December through Christmas Eve without buying a chocolate Advent you’ll finish by week two.
(Honest volume: four 1-page PDFs—4 pages across files, not one mega pack. Print the option(s) you’ll use.)

What’s included

- Advent Calendar Coloring Page (1 page) — Christmas Coloring Countdown with day boxes (through Christmas Eve) for your child to color each day; name / age / year lines at the top
- Christmas Drawing Countdown (1 page) — numbered blank spaces so your student can draw a different holiday item each day
- Christmas Fun Countdown (1 page) — pre-filled family-fun prompts (examples on the sheet: read Luke 2, make paper snowflakes, bake a holiday treat, look at Christmas lights, write a letter to Santa, make hot cocoa, Christmas Eve service, and similar December activities)
- Christmas Kindness Countdown (1 page) — kindness / service prompts (examples on the sheet: random act of kindness, donate clothes or toys, help a neighbor, bake cookies for someone, volunteer ideas, collect mittens/scarves/hats). Publisher notes you can edit kindness boxes on the landing if you want different fillers
Age band: Family / elementary · Advent / Christmas traditions. Print one sheet for the fridge, or let siblings each pick a style.
Who it’s for
Best for frugal Advent mornings—families who want a visible December countdown without candy pressure, plus a gentle faith-friendly or kindness option when that fits your home. Ideal as a light companion next to meatier Christmas learning packs: one page on the fridge while the deeper printables stay in the school basket.

How to use it this Advent
- Pick one style: Coloring for littles who love crayons; Drawing for creative sketchers; Fun for activity-filled Decembers; Kindness when you want service front-and-center.
- Fridge or binder: Print on letter paper; hang with a magnet or keep in a morning basket. Cardstock helps if siblings will handle it daily.
- December 1 start (or your Advent start): Color, draw, or check off one box each day through Christmas Eve.
- Mix siblings: Two kids, two styles—one colors while the other tracks kindness.
- Faith-friendly soft add: Fun Countdown includes a “Read Luke 2” box; Kindness leans service—use what fits without forcing a preachy tone.
- Keep it light: These are one-page companions—pair with a fuller Christmas pack only if you want deeper schoolwork.
What you’ll need
- Printer + letter paper (cardstock optional for fridge durability)
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils (Coloring / Drawing)
- Optional: magnet or tape for fridge display; pencil for checking Fun / Kindness boxes
- No candy calendar required—and no paid Advent unit needed
- Mild size tip: Fun and Kindness PDFs land around ~1.1 MB each; Coloring / Drawing are lighter—prefer Wi‑Fi if you’re on a slow hotspot

Christmas tracing and cutting pages from Homeschool Share
Want a little December fine-motor practice to go with the countdown sheets and playdough mats above? Homeschool Share has two more free preschool sets: gnome tracing pages for pre-writing and color-and-cut pages for scissor skills. Each one is a separate download from its own landing page. Neither is part of the four countdown PDFs.
Holiday Gnomes Tracing Pages (14 pages)
Kids trace lines to help the gnome find his way home, find a holiday tree, decorate the tree, fill the stocking, and find a holiday treat. Inside are six tracing pages in color (pages 3–8) and the same six in black-and-white (pages 9–14). Laminate the color pages or slip them into a dry-erase pocket so you can reuse them, or hand your preschooler a crayon and the black-and-white set. The file is about ~5.1 MB, so Wi‑Fi is easier.
