Teaching a child is more than just filling a mind with knowledge.
As a homeschool parent, you will spend many one-on-one hours with your children. Teaching is the perfect platform to show your children how much value they have in your eyes—and you can view this time together as an opportunity to encourage your children, to build them up, and to help them develop skills and character.
But in the ups and downs of the daily grind, we sometimes get so focused on teaching and “improving” our kids that we forget to encourage them.
We forget to remind our children to focus on what is possible instead of what seems impossible. We forget how important words are. Your words can speak directly to your child’s heart, convincing him I believe in you.
