On Shutterfly.com, through March 26, 2013, you can design and order a custom 8×8 photo book for free. These 8×8 books start at $19.99 but if you use coupon code: MYBOOK at checkout the book will be free. You will pay $7-8 for shipping.
Here’s what happened when I tried to use this coupon code to order my 8×8 photo book.
I just finished making a 8×11 photo book of Amelia Elaine since she’s now 6-weeks old and it was sitting in my Shutterfly account. Tonight when I saw this coupon code come up I went into my account and changed my 8×11 book to a 8×8 book. However at checkout the MYBOOK coupon code didn’t work.
I found out why though and I wanted to pass the information off to you.
I had created my photo book with a soft cover. The terms of the MYBOOK coupon code state that it needs to be for a hard cover book. That’s fine with me – it was another $10 to choose that feature (which is why I didn’t choose the option to begin with :)). I went back in and changed the 8×8 photo book from a softcover to a hard cover.
Here is a copy of my check out screen below. My hard cover photo book was $29.99. After I entered the coupon code my total after tax was $8.14. And you can see by the adorable photos below that it was $8.14 well spent!
