Today I’m sharing over at The Better Mom about ways to balance blogging and social media as both a business and a ministry. I have so much to say on this subject because my online efforts are all for the Lord. Working and ministering online is also demanding and draining. You want to seek a clear vision on what your goals are for working online.
My biggest encouragement to anyone who is blogging, or thinking of blogging, is to really seek the Lord for where He would have your voice. You want to be your own unique individual who is following your special plan that the Lord set out for you. You may not be a full-time blogger. Then again, the Lord may have that for you. You may not blog at all, but you may be a virtual assistant or designer. Whatever your online work may hold here are just a few helps for Balancing Blogging and Social Media as a Business and Ministry.

Jamerrill, those were some good tips. I have a whole list of thoughts and ideas that I have been praying through and submitting to the Lord.
There is one thing I would LOVE for you to write about, (if you haven’t already) and that is in choosing curriculum for our children that allows them to both truly learn, (not just rote workbooks) and yet enables them to work independently so that a WAHM can devote a fair amount of time to her business.
Now I could definitely devote evening hours to a business, but I would rather spend those hours being “mom” so they remember me as mom and not have their childhood memories with me revolve around math and keeping them on task all the time!
Does that make sense?
