Thanks so much for posting these. I love finding the older books for free on Kindle. They usually have excellent content. A few months ago we finished reading “Daughters of the Revolution and Their Times by Charles Carleton Coffin”. This has to be one of my all time favorite books – it was AWESOME! We are studying the American Revolution and there was such depth of truth woven into the story. Most of the characters were real people who were instrumental in the happenings of the American Revolution, of course there were a few fictional characters in the story as well. I’m so glad you posted it. Now I’m off to check out some of the other books in your list. Thanks!

Perfect! We are new homeschoolers (my oldest is 5) and I have been trying to find “real” history to read with my kids. I am so excited to read some of these!
