This blog is a site written and edited by me, Jamerrill Stewart. I’m a homeschooling mother of a large and growing family. Free Homeschool Deals is an idea that the Lord woke me up with one morning in April 2012; a site that would be a blessing to assist other homeschooling families achieve abundant homeschool living. From that vision I daily provide the best homeschool freebies, deals, encouraging articles, free instant downloads, recipes, and more.
If I could sew, I guess I’d sell quilts and do mending (a great gift by the way); but my gifting is working on-line, snagging deals and stretching dollars; those are skills that I’m sharing with you.
The Lord has blessed this site radically during its first year and it is a full-time job to run it well. I feel it’s more than fair that I’m compensated for the many hours that I put into making Free Homeschool Deals the valuable resource that it has become. There are growing expenses in running a site of this size to the tune of thousands. There is technical help (for when I break things), server space, a virtual assistant or two (to help me run this show everyday and still be a real homeschooling mom), site design (and redesign), training, hosting, plus more. Just like it costs money for the doughnut shop in town to keep its doors open – there are plenty of expenses with a booming site.
How do I make a profit from Free Homeschool Deals? Sometimes when you download a free eBook, sign-up for an online class, download free curriculum, or use my coupon code for a special offer, I may receive a small amount from that company. I also use affiliate links in posts and on the side bar. I use a third party ad service for additional ads – such as the Google ads on this site. And I accept paid advertising, and at times sponsored posts, on this site. I only accept paid advertising and sponsored post opportunities from companies who have a heart to bless homeschooling families.
I must use wisdom to make sure that the time I put into running Free Homeschool Deals is blessing my family, as well as yours, and not taking away from them. And all the moms said, amen.
My Christian moral integrity is so much more important than making a quick buck, and my readers are my first priority. I will never intentionally share any content that would not be of great benefit to your homeschool family. Because of the time sensitive nature of some offers there may be one that slips through once in awhile (like a Science book that inadvertently mentions evolution) that I would not have posted having full knowledge. However, if you find any products that are of a concern, please let me know and I’ll removed them immediately. 🙂
Any compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made on this blog. I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on topics & products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
Whew, now that all that’s said and done…let’s go grab some goodies. 🙂 Have a blessed day!
